Physiotherapy is a health care profession focused on reducing pain, improving mobility, and restoring function. Whether your goal is to move better at home, perform at work, or stay active in sport and recreation, physiotherapy helps you return to your highest possible quality of life.
No referral is required to access private physiotherapy services. You can book an appointment directly.
However, a doctor’s referral may be required if:
- You are receiving treatment through WCB (Workers’ Compensation Board), or
- Your extended health insurance provider requires one for reimbursement
We recommend confirming your coverage requirements with your provider before your first visit.
We make every effort to book your initial appointment within 24 hours. Walk-ins are always welcome, and our physiotherapists will do their best to see you as soon as possible based on availability.
Please bring your insurance information and any relevant documents, such as extended health benefit cards.
If available, bring a doctor’s referral, as well as any imaging reports (X-rays, CT scans, MRIs) or post-operative protocols you may have received following surgery.
For clothing:
- If your injury affects the lower body (low back to feet), please bring or wear shorts.
- If your injury affects the upper body and you are female, please wear a sports bra or tank top to allow for proper assessment.
- If your condition involves your feet, please bring any custom orthotics and footwear you regularly use.
These items help us perform a thorough and accurate assessment.
Session length varies depending on your condition and treatment needs. Most appointments last between 30 minutes and one hour.
Every condition is assessed individually. The number of treatments required depends on factors such as:
- The nature and severity of your condition
- Your activity level and goals
- How your body responds to treatment
After your initial assessment, your physiotherapist will recommend a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Most extended health benefit plans provide partial or full coverage for physiotherapy and massage therapy treatments. Coverage varies by provider and plan, so we recommend confirming the details directly with your insurance provider.

Yes. If you’ve been injured in a motor vehicle accident, physiotherapy can play a critical role in your recovery.
You should:
- File a claim with your auto insurance provider
- Visit your doctor to document your injuries (recommended, but not required)
A doctor’s referral is not required to begin physiotherapy treatment. Early intervention after a motor vehicle accident often leads to faster recovery and better long-term outcomes.
